Taya got weighed over and over again, and this continues. Believe me, Taya liked these colourful hammocks way better than the cold flat metal scales!
Ljuba loved Taya's fuzzy shoulders and arms. We were both amazed at her head control--here about a week old.
One day I (KC) turned around to see that Taya had rolled onto her side and grabbed this wooden box that Auntie Simona painted, pulling herself in with force!
When we took Taya to the hospital (for her 1st of 3 visits) for her occasionally abnormally low resting heart rate, she showed off her hiccoughs, which made attaching the electrodes quite a challenge.
In the early days we tried many feeding methods (to spare Lj's poor beaten nipples), including the finger & syringe.
Despite haveing her diaper changed (the lower part of this picture cropped for the sake of decency and Taya's future modesty), Taya was blissfully asleep.
We love our tummy time, especially skin to skin.

Nanna and Grandpa stayed for a whole month helping out in every way possible, including the feeding. I (KC) was confident Grandpa would be a pro with this method!
