November started off with a wonderful visit from Nanna, which Taya loved (so much that she was sometimes too excited to sleep). (Two of these pics are courtesy of Nanna). Here's Taya dressed up as a bumblebee for Hallowe'en (celebrating the critical ecosystem service of pollination! :) In truth, the Kai's-work connection is a coincidence).
Taya loves playgrounds! But most of all she loves playing with sand on the slides (she's not yet the most adventuresome kid in the park).
Taya loves potty time. If it involves books ("Booh! Booh! Booh!").
Taya, no you aren't fat--despite what some people might say!!!
When I went to Austria for work, I brought Taya her first doll. Ljuba thought it important that she have some humans to relate to (along with the dozens of animals). All fine and good until Maria's leg fell off. Taya was
absolutely devastated.
We find a way to giggle, one way or another! Here over a medical vial (click on the pic to see the video).
Taya's nanny, Luisa, taught Taya to flutter her eyelids. Here she practices (click on the pic to see the video).
One day at dinner, Taya did this crazy thing with her arm at her ear. We still have no idea what it was, but it was funny (click on the pic for the video)!
